Yesterday, David Beckham, the fans of ED Hardy style, took part in a web chat on Yahoo. When asked if he and Victoria had made any major fashion errors, he replied that there were a couple of instances we regret, like when they both wore leather trousers and a jacket.

However, we believe that this is quite an understatement. Even then, we are grateful he’s brought it up so we could treat ourselves to another look at the outfit in question. In order to refresh your memory, the issue took place back in 1999 and the pair was at a Versace gala in London.

Now that Victoria Beckham has given up her former WAG style and conquered the world of fashion. Meanwhile, her husband, David Beckham, laid his love of sarongs to rest, it’s easy to forget that the duo have made some questionable sartorial choices over the years. But it seems that these mistakes are still fresh in the couple’s minds.

David also revealed that he and his fashion-forward wife set out to co-ordinate their outfits. He said, ‘Victoria looks good in anything. People always ask if we combine our clothes but sometimes one of us will be ready downstairs and the other will come down and we’ll have the same colour or type of outfit, which is just coincidence most of the time.’ We wonder if the leather look was planned or accident…?
