Jolin Tsai, Taiwanese Mandopop singer, released the album “Magic” in 2003, which turned out to be a smashing success, topping the Taiwan album charts for three full months and selling more than 300,000 copies in Taiwan alone. The album has sold over a million copies in Asia. The album boasted many of her most well-known singles, including the hit dance song that brought Tsai back to the top of the charts
In 2009, Jolin launched her own brand of apparel, Seventy Two Changes, during Fashion Week in New York City, inspired by the star’s own distinctive style. The designs for each of the clothing sold under this brand are specially designed by Tsai herself. She also worked as a spokesperson for Shiatzy Chen. Jolin is the fans of ED Hardy, so her design is influenced by ED Hardy’s style. Her brand is very popular in United States, so the number of her brand’s selling points increased from 12 to 30 in half a year. This year, she introduces her brand to China mainland. On 1st March 2010, the first store of the brand “Seventy Two Changes” officially launched in shanghai, and Jolin came to shanghai to advertise her brand as designer.
Considering of the diversity of modern women’s work, she makes OL clothing stylized and advises females to highlight “72 change” personality with the mashup of green, grey, yellow, brown and black, the popular color of this year. Meanwhile, vast with bud silk and lace cardigan sweater, which are her favorite will hold the line as recommended in the CBD. She also has added various forms in her clothing, such as cloak cape, flower patterns which she want to appear in OL clothing. All the brand designs appear Jolin’s style– capable and experienced with diversity and street style. Dark clothes will be professional women’s favorite.
Jolin is 30 years old this year. When asked how to face her age, she was surprised and her face turned red. Thinking for a few seconds, she answered that no matter how old you are, as long as you can keep a young heart, you will be always 25 years old and can do things that the young do forever, just like her brand– Seventy Two Changes
With the business sense, Jolin’s Nail Salon founded four years ago has opened the branch last year. People wonder whether Jolin will focus on her won fashion Kingdom, but not on music. However, Jolin has indicated that she is never consider about that issue and now, she will concentrate on her music career.
